AAPL – Applied Land Practices

The American Association of Professional Landmen invites you to its Applied Land Practices Seminar on May 2, 2013.

The program will be held at Holiday Inn South Broadway: 5701 South Broadway, Tyler, TX 75703.

The seminar will be presented on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 8a.m. – 5:00p.m.

ETAPL College Scholarship 2013

Did you know that children and grandchildren of current ETAPL members are eligible to apply for the ETAPL scholarship?

Anyone interested in applying should complete the scholarship application and return it by April 8th, 2013.

Fee for this event is $50.00 and includes hamburgers, grilled chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, fruit cobbler and 2 drink tickets.

Attention current ETAPL members: this event is FREE for you if you bring in a new member! For just $50.00, a first-time member signing up that night will get to attend the seminar, have dinner and drinks, and will become an ETAPL member for 2012-13.

Annual Skeet Shoot

Benefitting the Texas Wounded Warriors

August 17, 2012 (4-7:00 PM) at Rose City Flying Clays

This year’s annual skeet shoot will take place at Rose City Flying Clays in Tyler beginning at 4:00 PM. Here are the details:

  • Ticket Info:
    • Dinner and Skeet Shoot – Includes  [ 1 ] round of skeet, a rib eye steak dinner and drinks
      • $40.00 if you pre-register and mail your check by August 10, 2012
      • $50.00 if you pay at the door
  • Dinner Only
    • $30.00 if you pre-register and mail your check by August 10, 2012
    • $40.00 if you pay at the door

Raffle Info:

  • $20.00 per raffle ticket or [ 6 ] tickets for $100.00, benefitting the Texas Wounded Warriors.
  • Two winners will be chosen, the first of which can choose either a Taurus Judge pistol or a Remington 11-87 (20 gauge). Thanks to Bergfeld Land and Minerals and Ted W. Walters & Associates for donating this year’s guns.

Additional rounds of skeet can be purchased for $7.50. ETAPL does not provide shotgun shells; you may either purchase them at Rose City Flying Clays or bring your own. Please bring eye and ear protection.

 

 

AAPL Field Landman Seminar

The American Association of Professional Landmen and the AAPL Educational Foundation invite you to attend a FREE Field Landman Seminar to be held at Hollytree Country Club, 6700 Hollytree Drive, Tyler, TX 75703 on Thursday, June. 28, 2012, starting at 5:00pm.

The Trustees of the AAPL Educational Foundation initiated these events to provide a forum for field landmen to gather for education, networking, and good food, all at no cost to all AAPL Active Members and $50.00 to non-members attending.  This program designed for Field Landmen to have the opportunity to register to become a member of the AAPL.

The $50.00 registration fee covers this education class, happy hour, dinner, plus your first year of membership dues. Please note: You can fill out your application prior to attending this seminar and bring it with you for processing.

The program begins with happy hour and a buffet dinner, and will be followed by an AAPL Update.  We then will have two interesting and informative presentations by David Eyerly speaking on, “Teaching The Landman to Become A Windman” and Lane Brown wtih Freeman Mills PC (topic TBD).

Accreditation:

This seminar is accredited by AAPL for two RL/RPL/CPL continuing education credits.
